In 2012, the Piri Piri Steak House concept was born, with the introduction of new and unique menu items, with the aim of showcasing a one-of-a-kind selection of prime meat produce from all corners of the globe to local and foreign visitors, becoming one of the most iconic and individual Steak House’s in the Algarve.

A must visit during your stay in the Algarve, the Piri Piri Steak House offers a unique selection of gourmet meat specialities, with an array of international produce including Uruguayan 230 gr loin strip and 300 gr Rib eye to Scottish Donald Russel 500gr T-bone steak and rack of New Zealand lamb, as well as the famous local delicacy of Chicken Piri Piri.

Curiosity... PIRI PIRI? 
While the name 'Piri-Piri' quite literally means 'pepper-pepper' in the African language of Swahili, the hot chilli pepper itself was introduced to the Iberian Peninsula by Christopher Columbus, one of his New World discoveries. Portuguese traders then took the fiery seed to their colonies in Angola and Mozambique, and today, with roots from America to Africa, Piri-Piri Chicken is one of Portugal's most famous culinary dishes, and of the featured items at the Piri Piri Steak House.
